Matured In: 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts
This single malt whisky was distilled in 2014 at the Edradour distillery in the Scottish Highland whisky region. It was matured solely in 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Butts and in 2024 was bottled at 46% alc/vol as part of the Signatory Vintage Un-Chillfiltered range. This whisky has no added colouring.
Nose:Â A captivating aroma of dried fruits, particularly raisins and figs, intertwined with dark chocolate and a hint of spice. Raspberry jam mingles with sherried oak with hints of nutmeg.
Palate:Â The palate is full-bodied and flavourful, with a balance of sweetness and spice. The sherry influence is prominent, bringing notes of dark chocolate, orange peel, dried fruits, and a touch of cinnamon.
Finish:Â The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, creamy vanilla and Victorian sponge. The oaky influence is evident, adding structure and complexity to the finish.
