Sierra Nevada ‘Barrel-Aged Narwhal’ BBA Imperial Stout 473ml 11.9%

Often considered one of the best stouts to come out of the US, this release is a banger, mountains of that Bourbon influence from the multiple fresh Bourbon barrels, vanilla, toffee, caramel, with the malt bringing plenty of big roasted coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of umami and some nuttiness as well. Body is big but perhaps not as big as some other years drinks amazingly fresh, but is also great to cellar and put away for some time.
