An annual release of an Aged Limited Edition, 2023’s Port Askaig 17 year old was matured in traditional American oak casks and blended and bottled at 50.5% with approximately 9000 bottles released.
Non-chill filtered and no added colouring.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: A charcuterie board with melon, ham, and grapes, intertwined with bonfire smoke and citrus zest.
Taste: Dense smoke, minerals, with raspberry leaf and chocolate uniting.
Finish: Red fruits and a hint of medicinal smoke with a herbaceous touch.
