After full maturation in charred new American oak barrels, Penelope Bourbon is finished in a new, hand-toasted barrel — adding additional deep notes of vanilla and complexity to the Penelope signature profile.
Typically, these are bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), but this private barrel has been bottled at natural cask strength: 114 proof (57% ABV).
