Scott Allan joins us in the tasting room on the 5th of June to share with us some incredible American Whiskey!
Penelope is a fantastic distillery, founded and named in 2018 after the founders’ daughter by the same name, the distillery has been releasing some exceptional whiskies. Using 3 different mash bills from MGP, the team at Penelope created a signature Four Grain blend made from Corn, Rye, Wheat and Malted Barley, that is both light and full of flavour. Over the years their range has expanded to include several different releases, including a growing focus on cask-finished Bourbons, alongside classics such as the Wheated or Toasted Barrel.
Scott has recently visited the USA, and will be full of stories to tell us, but the star of the show will be the new Penelope Toasted Barrel Australian Exclusive that will be launched on the night! That being said, we will also have a chance to try some of the more limited, special edition bottlings such as the Rose Cask Finish and Valencia!
