The palate is well balanced, with tingly acidity and a hint of fruit sweetness to finish. WINEMAKER’S NOTE: This Riesling is a blend of our two vineyards in Coonawarra and Wrattonbully. Wrattonbully being slightly warmer has floral notes, whereas Coonawarra has more acidity and citrus fruits. VINTAGE NOTE: Vintage 2023 had some challenges with cooler, wetter weather patter persisting from February through the growing season. Fortunately, a burst of warm weather late February boosted the ripeness and flavour in the lead up to harvest in early March. The whites were a stand out with great natural acidity and complex character.

This is a tart and tangy rendering of the variety, super refreshing, slick texture in the mix, a crackle of talc-like minerality and brine to finish. Lemon-lime, ripe apple, just-ripe pineapple going on here. It’s super delicious, lots of texture, lots of personality. Crikey. What a bargain! 94pts.”
