Old Perth scotch whisky was a lost blend that was originally created by the fiercely proud Perthshire family, the Thomsons. It was the family’s blender, Peter Thomson who originally produced the ‘Old Perth’ blend. In homage to Peter every box of Old Perth carries his family’s name.
One of Scotland’s oldest whisky families, the Morrisons (formerly of Morrison Bowmore Distillers), purchased the Old Perth brand and brought the legacy back to life for all to enjoy.
Morrison is a well-established house in Scotch whisky and are home to the Carn Mor single cask series, Mac-Talla Islay single malt, Old Perth sherry-cask blended malt and Bruadar whisky liqueur.
