Vinification: Riesling pressed on arrival at the winery allowed to settle then followed by barrel fermentation of 68 days.
Maturation: In barrel for a further 42 months on full solids with 36 months of that under flor.
Bottled unfined and unfiltered
Colour: Super bright and clear yellow gold with shimmering edges.
Aroma: Amazingly complex and interesting with lemon and lime, pineapple upside down cake including fresh pineapple and cinnamon plus nutty notes, hints of sea-spray and a lifted flor character.
Palate: Long and complex on palate, with fresh pineapple, lemon pith, fantastic nutty and sea-spray characters plus excellent texture and mouthfeel.”
