Doba Yej is Zapotec for agave Espadin; the agave varietal used to make this mezcal. This Artisanal mezcal is Los Siete Misterios’ first departure from their usual Ancestral style. At the heart of what Los Siete Misterios do is a deep passion for preserving traditional production techniques and the production of super-premium mezcal. It speaks volumes about a brand, when a horse-drawn tahona milling and copper pot distillation are a step removed from their usual levels of tradition (hand milled and clay pot distilled).
Bottled at 45%; expect from this release notes of fresh citrus, mild smoke and sweet vanilla.
