“Le Terre Diverse is a project by well-known Tuscan winemakers Paolo Caciorgna and Nicola Berti. Their intent is to produce wines of the highest quality that fully reflect the typicality of the territory. The pair’s Sicilian acquisition is on the north side of Mount Etna. The vineyards extend in Castiglione di Sicilia, in the Contrada Santo Spirito, on porous and deep soils composed of volcanic ash, with traces of sand and mineral richness.
From the land acquired on Etna, Cereda was born. Made with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio of an eye-catching ruby red. The nose expresses aromas of small red fruits, cloves and traces of licorice. It is a full-bodied red wine, imposing in its already elegant tannins despite its very young age.”
