Winter Solstice 3 is a peated bourbon cask. Following the tradition of the first two releases this is an exceptional whisky showcasing the gentle use of peated malt Launceston Distillery is known for.
Colour: Dark golden.
Nose: Gentle wafts of smoke. Wood embers, earthy peat, iodine and toasted oak.
Taste: Smooth, oily and warming. Sweet and smoky. Vanilla and burnt caramel notes mingle with light, earthy peat.
Finish: Mild smoke and peat persist in a pleasant lingering finish.
