In a region where famous red wines overshadow white varieties, La
Bollina produces an impressive range of high quality wines that
express the peculiarities and charm of the terroir, with a focus on
Gavi DOCG production from the Cortese grape. This persistent
quality is achieved in a modern winery, equipped with the most
efficient technology available.
The winery is situated in the commune of Serravalle Scrivia, in the
centre of the Gavi region located within Alto Monferrato, of which
the red wines bare the DOC distinction, on a vast estate once
owned by the Marquises Figari of Genoa. The property
spans 120ha of landscape mostly covered by chestnut woodlands
with just 25ha being dedicated to vineyards.
