Slightly thicker and richer than the Jyotokuya’s Dochu release, this is one for the bourbon drinkers. Notes of rye break, plantain, ginger, black pepper and flint remind one of a sunbaked summer day, with a pleasant palate of sweet caramel, creme brulee, raisins, spongecake and freshly-squeezed sugarcane juice providing a nice and sweet little kick.
Pairs well with:
Sweet-marinade meats like Texas BBQ
Korean Fried Chicken
Pancakes and maple syrup
Try serving with ginger ale!
