A clean and dry yuzushu from Oita producers Jyotokura, known for their high-end mugi (barley) shochu and limited releases. In contrast to many of the kajitsushu (fruit liqueurs) currently available on the market, this yuzushu is not a high-acid juice bomb, instead a product that carries a refined elegance and a clear attentention to detail in its production. The ‘all usa’ aspect of this refers to location of production: everything in this product, from the shochu to the yuzu to the glass of the bottle, comes from Usa City, Oita Prefecture, Japan.
A strong recommendation for use in cocktails, and for those who are after yuzu aromatics and flavour withouth the sweetness.
