“Piemontese grape variety Arneis was grown organically in a neighbour vineyard in Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills. Grown on Clay and Sandstone soils, the Arneis had a nice and slow ripening season to reach perfect balance in both aromatic and acidity thanks to a long and cool season.Â
Naturally hand-picked, the Arneis got whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel tank then racked in barrels at the end of primary fermentation. Elevage in French barriques for 8 months on fine lees to give it an extra dimension. Hand made & bottled on site in our Basket Range winery without fining nor filtration.”
