The return of the much-loved GlenDronach 15-Year-Old single malt.
Off shelves for three years, it has returned under the stewardship of new Master Blender Rachel Barrie, who’s put this together from a combination of ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximenex casks.
The return will please GlenDronach diehards and convert a new audience of sherry cask lovers.
Clean sherry notes with plenty of boldness, fruitcake, dried raisins, caramel, chocolate and fruit spice. The initial sweetness balanced by a savoury, moreish palate.
A step up in elegance and complexity from the gutsy 12-year-old and it sits in nicely underneath the decadent 18-year-old.
