Manu Conde Joins Us Again!
Dumangin is an exceptional name in the French Whisky Scene. As an alcohol producer, Dumangin et Fils has been making Champagne, Mistelles for the last 130+ years, becoming a world renowned producer of Ratafia Champenoise, a sweet foritified wine from the Champagne Region. Dumangin has been releasing Whisky since the 1980s, but now, under Gilles Dumangin, it has become a proud exploration of bringing whiskies of the world to Northern France.
Specialites Dumangin Whiskies are taken from all around the world, from Bourbon to Single Malt, Single Grain & Rye, each Single Cask is carefully selected, and shipped to France in order to undergo additional maturation in Dumangin’s own Ratafia Champenoise casks. This adds a signature fruity and creamy facet to the spirits bottled at Dumangin.
Hosting this excellent tasting will be Manu from Cerbaco, a friend of the Oak Barrel and represantative for the importers of Dumangin in Australia. We will be taking a look at some of their favourite releases from previous batches, along with some new arrivals from Benriach and Auchriosk!
