“Low yielding 100 year old Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre (40/20/20/20) on limestone gravel over shallow red clay then limestone bedrock. Whole bunches are loaded into the cement vat then gently crushed before a 3 week maceration and basket pressing. Aged in tank for one year.
We tasted the 2019 as the 2020 wasn’t ready yet. Expect ripe purple fruits and sweet spices, lots of grainy tannins and a fresh long finish. The premier cuvée for Lori.”
