“Savagnin grown on deep sand. A wild place. All direct pressed to barrel for fermentation, followed by a year of rest. A further 8 months in tank before bottling in September 2022. Linear and salty, rich and voluminous in the right places with great length. Juxtaposed, but so correct. While this wine cold and fresh with oysters is a treat, I think you’d do it a disservice not to open it and take as long as you can – it has a lot to offer. This wine is not a tribute.“
