The Ardbeg BizarreBQ, a whisky that makes you ask the question… What on earth is a BBQ Cask?
Ardbeg and Barbequed meat go together like honey and pizza, or strawberries and cream, or any other obvious two part pairing, so it was only a matter of time before the Master Distiller, Dr Bill Lumsden, set his eyes on a proper BBQ themed Ardbeg release.
Using a mixture of Ardbegs signature heavily charred oak casks, Pedro Ximinez Casks and the concerningly named BBQ Casks, this release is fantastic, a good idea executed well perfectly.
(The BBQ Casks are toasted over a brazier for an extra crispy finish)
