Made using all-Indian barley, grown in the Punjab at the foothills of the Himalayas, malted in Delhi, then brought closer to the gods in Bangalore with distillation and maturation at 3000 feet above sea level.
COLOUR: Golden Yellow
TASTING NOTE:
NOSE: Distinctly confident liquorice and bourbon notes with a near perfect bitter-sweet balance of burnt honeycomb and toffee.
TASTE: Outstanding, rich barley and oak sweetness; there is a big bourbon style with liquorice and demerara sugar—with malt biscuit notes adding an extra dimension.
FINISH: Long, wonderfully layered oak, offering variations of sweetness and dryness—a silky mouthfeel with butter toffee at the close.
