Description

Once again, when it comes to multiple decades old whisky, there is something about a good single grain that just cannot be beat. This North British, aged a hearty 36 years in ex-Bourbon, was released as part of Adelphi’s 30th anniversary. Desserty on the nose but elegant, it shows of the patisserie sweet profile that single grains gain when left unobstructed.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Australian bakeries often contain sweets and pastries from a myriad of european origins. Imagine a macaron next to a biscotti next to a slice of pavlova…

Palate: Pineapple, Chocolates, Zesty Citrus tea cake…
