A heavily peated expression from Goa’s Paul John distillery, it’s broad and deep.
A dry smoke is evident immediately from the nose, with sweet honey emerging – presumably from the oak which is also present. Across the palate and finish there’s coffee notes and subtle mixed exotic spices.
Bottled at 46% it’s very good value for the price, as is expected from Paul John.
