Chateau Coutet Barsac 2005 (750ml)

The wine has a very beautiful gilded colour with moderate copper hues. A rich and full nose develops intense floral notes, recalling jasmine, lilac and acacia; airing releases honey, apricot, and the more complex aromas of gingerbread and elegant oak. The attack is full and round, revealing an important concentration, aromatically powerful, with character and a beautiful palate of fruity flavours including notes of candied and dry fruits. Impressive to the palate, its density pairs the opulence of a great vintage to the smoothness of sauvignon blanc. The generous and long finish gives an enveloping and persistent feeling for a memorable experience.
