'Mourvedre, hello! McLaren Vale source.
Sweet floral notes, game meat, rose hip tea, raspberry. Slurpy textured, lighter than expected, nice crunch to acidity, cherry-pippy and juicy and just straight up awesome delicious and fun. That being said, a little extra under the hood here. How’s that savoury finish. Thanks heaps.' - 92 points. Mike Bennie, Wine Front
Handpicked Mourvedre from the Paeroa vineyard in McLaren Vale & farmed without the use of systemic nor synthetic chemical inputs. Fermented wild as 100% wholebunch & foot-stomped once daily for the first 5 days of ferment. The resulting wine was pressed direct to neutral oak & remained on full solids for 5 months where battonage occurred once monthly. Settled in stainless steel and bottled by hand. Unfined and unfiltered.
