Okayama Rice Shochu Wild Breeze is distilled from Japanese Koji rice and aged in a mixture of refill-shochu and virgin-oak barrels resulting in a woody, rounded and mellow profile. It comes packaged in Mino pottery from the famous Mino Province in the Gifu Prefecture
Nose: Wild berries, melon skins, stonefruits, rice wine and plenty of oak.
Palate: A creamy mouthfeel with subtle hints of stone fruit, wood chips, summer berries and straw.
Finish: The finish is long and luxurious with lingering oak, rice wine, overripepeach and cream Apera, with a final note like good cachaça or Rhum Agricole.
