This 18-year-old was distilled December 2001 and bottled June 2020 as an 18-year-old. Bottled from a refill barrel, it yielded 190 bottles at 55.2%.
One of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, Bowmore in the hands of indie bottlers are highly prized.
Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: An applewood smoker and chesterfield leather.
Palate: Smoked papaya and American blended fruit tobacco.
Finish: Burnt oranges and maraschino cherries, a fist full of salted pistachios.
