'White melon, pure, a little spice and wool, slight lemon and fresh feel, a subtle nutty character, like rice in a way, and a fresh and cool finish with some pulpy lime rind bitterness. Delightful.' - 92 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
The wine is made from Koshu grapes, Japanese indigenous grape variety grown at an altitude above 400m at the hilly regions of Katsunuma, the hub of wine industry in Yamanashi GI. The Misawa family has a high regard for this grape variety, the wine is crafted with great care to bring out the transparency, the freshness, the delicate fruitiness and the refined characters of the variety.
