As it says on the box - this whisky epitomises the comeback of the Glenglassaugh distillery.
The Revival was the first whisky released since distillery came back on line in 2009 after 20 years of inactivity. Now under the stewardship of the Benriach Distillery Company (since 2011), the distillery’s expressions are moving from strength to strength. With each release of the Revival getting older, this is a whisky that is both a piece of history and a young star at the same time.
Crafted from a vatting of bourbon and ex-red wine casks, they are then matured for a period in sherry casks.
This is non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
