50% Cinsault, 33% Grenache & 17% Mourvedre from the Barossa Valley. Vine Vale and Ebenezer.
Dry (actually) rosé direct pressed Grenache & Mourvedre and the Cinsault is left on skins for 12-24 hours. Turkish delight, vanilla, lychee and spice from the Cinsault, Raspberries and tart red skin apples scents, with a touch of amaro peel / spice characters, fresh lemon peel and fresh nettles.
The mouth feel has a touch of oiliness / peach iced tea feel that lends to the weight of raspberries, redskin apples and freeze dried strawberries up front, which is then met with grapefruit bitterness, peach leaf and mouthwatering acidity and closing out with a feel of cranberries pomegranates - in terms of fruits, acid and lick of tannin. - Winemaker, Steve Crawford
