We’ve chopped up French Oak barrels and thrown the barrel chips into the fermenter of our flagship pale ale (you guessed it) and left to ferment for 24-36 hours…
The final product is an american style pale ale with massive citrus and pine notes, perfectly rounded out with silky vanilla flavour and a softened mouthfeel. Taking the bitterness out of Hop Hog and replacing it with oaky, creamy characteristics.
