Extremely rare cuvee from the Dagueneau family, one of the most iconic producer from the Loire, making ridiculous amount of wine each year with a huge international demand. This cuvee is partneship with Guy Pautrat and were starting by Daguenau father. Perdfect balance for this dry Jurancon.
This wine, made in tiny quantities from ridiculously low yields of Petit Manseng, gros manseng and courbu offers all the purity and precision of Dagueneau's greatest wines. The pricing reflects the costs of making the wine (via a berry-by-berry selection despite the fact that no botrytis is involved here). To arrive at the sale price, Didier previously claimed he simply totalled up the cost of project each year and divided this total by the number of bottles made! intense wines with ethereal, racy personalities and offer all sorts of florals, stone fruits, citrus and honey aromas and flavours. Both have approximately 125g/l residual sugar. They glide across the palate with mouth-watering, tangy acidity keeping them fresh and impulsively moreish. A superb achievement, these beautiful sweet wines will drink well for decades.
