An espadin-distilled mezcal that was originally released as a limited run of 330 bottles before being encouraged to release it under Del Maguey's Vino De Mezcal series.
Espadin Especial is floral with a slight note of vanilla, citrus and a tropical note of pineapple with a bit of a caramel or butterscotch. There is a saline element towards the end with is both refreshing and alluring.
Comes from the same producer who creates Del Magey's Tobala expression.
