We’re back to where it all began. In December 2018 The Oak Barrel was proud to host the launch event for Craft Works Whisky with Craig ‘Crafty’ Field. We tried a range of whiskies from the independent bottler arm as well as new make and progress report cask samples. A lot has happened in the past two years, so with the launch of the inaugural Capertee-distilled Craft Works Single Malt just around the corner we’re excited to be welcoming Crafty back for a virtual tasting that can be enjoyed by everyone around the country.
Many have followed Crafty in his journey, initially matching barrels from all over the world to spirit from all over Australia to the formation of his own distillery in a shed out the back of the Capertee Hotel. We’ll be packaging up six 30ml samples to send all around Australia for people to celebrate the launch of the very first single malt whisky distilled in Capertee.
Codenamed “Project Ian”, it will break cover (name and all) on the night.
On top of that we’ll go on a journey through spirit, from eau de vie distilled from fruit and new make, to the Tokay Okay release and the upcoming SOB 2020. We’ll also have a gander at the work-in-progress report Son Of A Beast.
These packs are strictly limited as there is limited stock we have to play with.
