A single estate reposado tequila distilled from largely highland-grown tequila and aged for six-to-eight months in American oak barrels.
Soft and easy drinking, this showcases baking spices, fresh-cut grass, herbal agave notes and background vanilla.
Corazon is a single-estate tequila bottled at Casa San Matias, Jalisco. The agave is harvested from the Jalisco highlands before it is roasted in the distillery’s clay ovens for 48 hours. Fermentation is 72 hours with a proprietary yeast strain. Following distillation the tequila is oxygenated, a process believed to help in creating a softer, cleaner spirit.
Owned by the Sazerac Company, Corazon means “heart” in Spanish.
