An 11 year-old rum single cask rum from the defunct Ten Cane Trinidad rum style, bottled by Compagnie des Indes.
10 Cane was produced in Trinidad by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy and released from 2005 onwards. A lighter, fruitier style of rum, it was discontinued in 2015 and few examples remain.
Desitned for the US market but never really taking holdof their palate, this was distilled through pot still from pure cane juice (so agricole in style).
Bottled at 43% this single cask was distilled May 2008 and bottled October 2019.
Nose: Characteristic of cane juice rums with floral touches. Citruses, rose and jasmine scents in this single cask.
Palate: You find the same flavours with a cherry liquor chocolate note
Finish: Expressive, it's long and dry with notes of dry fruits.
Compagnie des Indes bottle single cask and blend rums from all around the world. They are inspired by the East Indai Company and simillarly search the world for rums and bring them to Europe for bottling.
