Distilled 2012 this was bottled from a refill sherry butt in 2021. At 47.5% there are 1,281 bottles in the batch.

Teaninich is a distillery rarely seen as a single malt - when it is it's usually in the hands of blenders. A versatile distillery that produces a lot of whisky (it has a capacity of over 10 million litres of alcohol per year), it has undergone a number of upgrades since it was built over 200 years ago in 1817.
One unique element of Teaninich is the use of a hammer and mash filter, a modern mash tun replacement that creates an ultra-clear wort and a higher yield. A whisky that is often grassy, there are often exotic aromas to indpendent bottlings.
Carn Mor is an independent bottling arm of Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. The company has gone through a few names, being founded as John Murray & Co before it was taken over in 2005 by Kenny Mackay and former Morrison Bowmore chairman Brian Morrison. Initially bottling Scotch whisky under Carn Mor alongside the production of liqueurs, they founded the Aberagie distillery in Perthsire in 2017.
When Brian and son Jamie Morrison took sole ownership they rebranded as Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers in 2020. The Old Perth sherry cask matured blended malt and Mac-Talla Islay single malt brands are also part of the company's portfolio.
