Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2019 as a a potent young Bunnahabhain, this was drawn from three ex-bourbon casks.
Bottled at 58.9% with 720 bottles in the batch.
Nose: Oily and grassy with background peat. Very industrial. Some black pepper wit fennel and lemon thyme. Becomes creamier.
Palate: Dry ash and then some smoking hot oil, pear skins, whole limes, runny honey and a hint of mezcal.
Finish: Drying soke and then becoming oilier and giving way to creamy stuffed peppers and a hint of engine oil.
