Boon Vat 31 Monoblend is a geuze aged in foeder #31 for 4 and a half years.

Tasting notes: A beautifully soft and delicate expression of an Oude Geuze with aromas of oak, delicate fruit and spice. The palate is lush and velvety with layers of stone fruit, gentle malt and a distinctly oak driven finish.
Foeder #31 is the large barrel used to age this amazing Lambic and was first built between 1905 and 1908 by the Bodenheim company from Kassel (Germany). In 1988 as series of large foerders were aquired by Brouwerij Boon, including Foerder #31.
