'Round two from young Rivar Ferguson-Mayer. Here’s his crack at the noble gris variety, whole bunch pressed and left to hang out in old wood. The fruit comes off the neighbour’s farm.
Oof, this ticks boxes then confetti spills out. Great gris, textural feast, savoury notes, strong pear juice DNA of the variety. A little root vegetable, some light ginger spice, cashew nuts, good length and a dry, puckering finish. Medium weight but tightly held and refreshing too.' - 93 points. Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
