Been a while between new stuff from Europe. Here are some new Brewery's, hope you enjoy hops.

Sudden Death (Germany)

"Beer in Germany is boring, usually filtered Pilsener where just the bitterness diversified each beer from each other. Ok, sometimes you had a wheat or a black beer which was the highest level of diversity that you can find on a menu card of a restaurant. The German beer landscape is somehow drab in the land of the German purity law."

It was tough and nearly impossible to get craft  beers in Germany, not even online shops listed them. That’s why we decided to become homebrewers. After just a short period Olli got qualified as a Beersommelier. This is how the story of Sudden Death Brewing Co. developed.

Arnau Rovira, our head brewer, and Teresa Galván, started up the project  in 2012. Initially as Gypsy Brewers and then eventually opening a brewery in Sant Llorenç d’Hortons, in the Penedès

Garage Beer (Spain)

We started as a Brewpub in 2015 in Barcelona's Eixample neighborhood, in 2017 we opened our main factory, where we produce most of our beers, while the brewpub functions as a Brett factory.

This is the 2nd Beer of our Neipa series "Monsters of New England".

This fruity Fly is Dry Hopped with Mosaic Cryo Hops backed up by Eukunaot and Simcoe.

Barcelona Weisse brewed with mango, pineapple, passionfruit and coconut

GARAGE BEER SOUP IPA 440ML

Super heavy fruity hop aroma and taste. This hop bomb benefits from a cloudy, deep chewie body.

ESPIGA HYPERACTIVE TDH IPA 440ML

Triple Dry Hopped IPA full of hops. Pale golden in color, a bit hazy and white foam. Fruity flavour with herbal notes stand out together with the warm sensation in the mouth. It’s a craft beer with a mild bitterness.

ESPIGA CITRUS BASE DDH IPA 440ML

It exhibits citrus and tropical aromas thanks to the double dry-hopping of the cryo hops Citra and Mosaic, that contribute with notes of lime, grapefruit, pineapple, mango and passion fruit. In the mouth it is juicy and it floods the palate with fruity, exotic and herbal flavours that conclude in a pleasantly bitter and dry finish.

ESPIGA / GARAGART LOVING VACCINES DDH IPA 440ML

On the palate it has a silkiness and creaminess provided by wheat and oat malts that combine perfectly with a warm mouthfeel. In aroma and flavor we find citric and herbal notes that come from the Cascade and Mosaic hops used in the double dry hopping.

With this beer we want to pay tribute to the scientific and health community that is fighting to defeat the Coronavirus.
