Das Juice 2020 has your summer drinking sorted

Posted by Joe Perry on 8th Oct 2020

Now entering it's 4th vintage, the Das Juice winemaking project continues to capture the hearts and palates of wine lovers across the country. The 2020 release sees 4 still wines from South Australia, a zippy Mornington Peninsula Pet Nat, and a juicy, ultra-drinkable Gamay from Fleurie in Beaujolais.

Das Juice is the winemaking project from Tom Sheer and James Audas of Lo Fi Wines, the legends responsible from the wines of Matassa, Tschida, Gut Oggau (plus so many more) making in to our shores. After recognizing a demand for affordable, sustainably farmed, minimal intervention wine here in Australia, Das Juice was born.

The wines of Das Juice are made with maximum fun in mind, with the still wines from South Australia sourced from organic and biodynamic vineyards, and the Beaujolais from organic vineyards in collaboration with Guillaume Chanudet. The winemaking is done with as little tinkering as possible, with no fining or filtration, and a minimal amount of sulphur at bottling being the only addition.

Even with the range growing, these wines sell out quicker and quicker each year. Das Juice fans get in quick.
