3 Fonteinen is a Belgianbrewery, specializing in gueze and kriek. The brewery is situated in Beersel, near Brussels.

This Kriek is made exclusively with hand-picked local wild Schaarbeekse sour cherries.
The lambics originate from 5 different barrels and 12 brews. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

3 FONTEINEN INTENSE RED OUDE KRIEK
“Intens Rood” is the result of maceration of whole, hand-picked sour cherries in traditional lambic for at least six months and at a rate of one kilo per liter. Then, the kriek lambic is blended with young lambic to obtain and an intensity of min. 450 grams of fruit per liter.

Previous releases from 3 Fonteinen have incorporated blends from other major Lambic producers and continue to. But this beer stands alone as an ode to what these two brothers, the current operators can achieve. Steeped in brewing tradition and pride, this beer is an ode to Lambic.

An outstanding Kriek. Sweet and tart cherry aroma, hinting at some herbal and spiced complexity. A balance of sweet and tart with lactic sharpness accentuating the fruit characteristic.
28th blend of the 18/19 season. This specific Framboos was macerated for 5.5 months with organic raspberries. The final fruit intensity is 358 grams per liter of finished Framboos. 100% 3 Fonteinen young and semi-young lambic from 3 different barrels and 3 different brews.
A true Geuze - A blend of 1, 2, and 3 year-old lambic unfiltered and unpasteurized, and aged in the bottle for at least a year after blending. Refermentation in the bottle give this Geuze its famous champagne-like spritziness.
