Not only do they focus on obtaining and creathing high quality sake rice, they also dedicate time and effort in their labs to increase said rice's quality.
This Shuzo (brewery) also are very mindful of their environment. They have implemented the ISO14000 system in helping with keeping their environment sustainable. They also participate in various activities to preserve their natural surroundings.

Joining on with Asahi Shuzo is Asahi Noken. Asahi Noken is an agricultural production corporation established in 1990 with a mission to preserve Japan’s regional agriculture and help produce even better varieties of sake-brewing rice. With its sights set on producing the ideal sake-brewing rice for Asahi-Shuzo, Asahi Noken plays a vital role as a test-field for experiments to reduce fertilizer use and protect the environment.
This sake is made by all local ingredients, the rice is harvested in this field and clean soft water from snowing mountains.
It's well balanced, clean and smooth taste with a subtle sense, fruity aroma.
