“Intens Rood” is the result of maceration of whole, hand-picked sour cherries in traditional lambic for at least six months and at a rate of one kilo per liter. Then, the kriek lambic is blended with young lambic to obtain and an intensity of min. 450 grams of fruit per liter.
After maturing in the bottle for at least six months, a robust Oude Kriek is created, and which evolves in the glass, just like a Pinot Noir. Natural fruit, without juice, syrups or added sugars. Unfiltered and unpasteurized.
